Tracy is a certified trauma treatment specialist with over 30 years of experience. She received her Masters of Social Work, with a specialization in children and families, from Dalhousie University, in Halifax, NS.  Tracy has conducted thousands of interventions related to traumatic events such as suicides, homicides, vehicular accidents, fatal workplace incidents and disasters. This includes providing ongoing risk assessments to people who, for example, maybe experiencing suicidal ideations, anxiety, depression, PTS, and PTSD.

Tracy has owned and operated her own practice called Solutions and New Beginnings for over 25 years providing On-call co-ordination and management for crisis response across Canada.

Tracy has become a respected trainer developing and implementing a wide range of workplace training programs focused on leadership, professional development and respect within the workplace. Tracy has been responsible for developing several high-profile educational workshops on prominent topics such as the Province of Alberta's impaired driving program, mental health and crisis management. Other topics include depression/anxiety; mediation; stress and building resiliency.

As an Instructor, Tracy has also had the opportunity to teach Mental Health, Trauma, Addictions and Violence at MacEwan University and NorQuest College in Edmonton.
